About Scott

Rooted in Simi Valley.
Ready to Serve.

Scott Juceam and his family have lived in Simi Valley since 2015, where he has become deeply invested in the community and its future. Born and raised in the Granada Hills and Northridge areas, Scott learned early the value of hard work, accountability, and building something through personal effort.

For more than 25 years, Scott has worked in tax resolution and financial advocacy, helping families and small businesses navigate complex financial challenges. He is the founder of The Tax Defense Group, a Simi Valley–based firm serving clients nationwide while remaining rooted in local values.

Scott has spent years working in public safety education and training, including participating in victimology instruction at the Sacramento Police Academy. In that role, Scott works with police cadets during their training, reinforcing preparation, professionalism, and respect for the responsibility of law enforcement.

Locally, Scott is known for being approachable, direct, and willing to step in to solve problems. He believes leadership means showing up, listening, and making decisions that protect residents, neighborhoods, and public trust.

Endorsement
I have known Scott since May 2006, and since that time have watched him fight for the most vulnerable in the world. I walked with Scott and Lorena through the darkest time in their life when they lost their beautiful daughter, Hannah. Since then, Scott's tireless mission has been to bring awareness to anyone who will listen about the dangers of the "Shaken Baby Syndrome". Scott fought for justice throughout the long trial process and will do the same for his constituents. He has been a great supporter of first responders, and he will work hard to improve his community. Scott's commitment to the service of others over the past twenty years has been inspiring, and I am proud to call him a brother and friend.
